In 2007, he starred in an underseas commercial for Seaborn Seahorse Milk, which became popular and is still aired in the present day as seen in Fish Out Of Water and in What Time Is It Right Now, where two fish people recognize Mr. Peanutbutter for it. When Princess Carolyn tries to leave, Mr. Peanutbutter asks her if she wants to keep hanging out, and pitches her movie ideas inspired by greeting cards. He tells her to not turn around, but she ends up seeing the mummy and is horrified. Mr. Peanutbutter asks Jessica why she's afraid of Mummies. Mr. Peanutbutter begins his campaign for governor, although he cannot run unless they get enough backers to recall the current governor, Woodchuck Coodchuck-Berkowitz. Following, she grabs her keys and heads out to aid them. Mr. Peanutbutter returns to his kitchen sulking and eats ice cream while not noticing Princess Carolyn and Todd hiding behind his couch. Mr. Peanutbutter finally admits this is true and apologizes to Diane for being dismissive and not really listening to her throughout their relationship in their phone conversation in Angela. Mr. Peanutbutter tries to say something but again restrains himself. In Planned Obsolescence, Mr. Peanutbutter surprises Pickles, by picking her up from work and inviting her to go with him to the desert, so they can watch the international space station being blown up. He always wears a grey V-neck t-shirt and aviator sunglasses, usually propped on his head, with light blue pants with white lines going down the sides, orange high-top sneakers, and two wristbands, a brown one and a neon green one, on his left wrist. BoJack is still on the phone with his mom. Princess Carolyn tells him she'll be right down, to help. At the end of Yes And, she tells Mr. Peanutbutter that it's too hard to talk to him on the phone all the time, and they shouldn't call each other for a while because she misses him too much. After signing off, Pickles asks Mr. Peanutbutter whats going on, saying that hes been acting differently. Pickles is introduced in The Dog Days Are Over in Season 5, where she begins dating Mr. Peanutbutter as his divorce with Diane is being finalized. Diane says he either needs to date older woman or grow up himself, or his girlfriends will keep outgrowing him. Mr. Peanutbutter tells BoJack he sees Princess Carolyn a lot at Birthday Dad events. He goes outside where his wife Katrina, who's dressed as Blossom, is very cheerful and happily married to him. However, she tells him to keep her away from any mummies due to a traumatic incident from her past. BoJack later calls Princess Carolyn and complains that Mr. Peanutbutter does his own stunts, so now he has to do his own stuntsbut he doesn't want to anymore. Mr. Peanutbutter tells her that it just looks like he did, and they have to re-edit the scene. Mr. Peanutbutter tells BoJack he took the liberty of doing his laundry for him and found a letter in his jacket pocket. Mr. Peanutbutter remarks he sometimes feels relief when he dreams that Diane disappeared from his life. He then tells her there was a protest organized by Susan Sarandon. Mr. Peanutbutter and Captain Peanutbutter are excited to spend the holiday together, although whenever Diane is alone with him Captain Peanutbutter talks in a nihilistic manner to her. While hes in the kitchen making her boba tea, the Boba maker asks if he wants whip cream and Mr. Peanutbutter stands there thinking. At the same time, people who had arrived at Mr. Peanutbutter's house for the surprise wedding jump out and yell Surprise! but they quickly retreat once Mr. Peanutbutter confesses his adultery, much to Pickles' shock. When Pickles asks how can they make things right, Mr. Peanutbutter says he wants them to be even somehow. He says the flooding ruined Julie Brown's new vintage dress she just bought and ruined the big finale of the show where her puppet plays Beethoven's fifth on the bongos. Diane goes inside Mr. Peanutbutter's office, which is filled with ball-pit balls, which Mr. Peanutbutter explains is because he recalled her wishing she had a ballroom as a child (although she tries to correct him, he jumps in before she can finish). Flip tells him he's never been to his houseit's supposed to represent how John Philbert feels: spare and lonely. Mr. Peanutbutter assures her he'll never leave her alone again, but Katrina storms off saying she wants to be alone now and tells him to have fun with his hippie liberal friends. He approaches a rhino smoking a cigarette and tries to get in his face, and he tries his cigarette away. Diane pretends to still be in Cordovia whenever she calls him. Why did BoJack and Diane get a divorce? Flip tells BoJack that wasn't his intention, he just wants to make a great show, and he's the only one with a problem. They agree fast food doesn't count and stop at a KFC, but it turns out to be "Kiki's French Cuisine," a fancy restaurant full of couples on dates. A drunk BoJack tells everyone to make this party an annual thing, and he wants to see everyone back here next year. However, Mr. Peanutbutter doesn't actually know how to ski, so Katrina sends him to ski school. Joey then talks about boarding his plane alone to go on tour and says his gate number so he doesn't forget it as he leaves. Pickles excitedly says she has to go and gives Mr. Peanutbutter a final hug and kiss thanking him for everything before running off. He tells Diane that he keeps taking amazing women and ruining them. In The Amelia Earhart Story, Princess Carolyn sits in front of the house and garage, both of which are depleted and long abandoned, in her car. Princess Carolyn reminds him of this. Princess Carolyn is understandably confused but says that she'll look into getting the film rights. BoJack is deflated, but Mr. Peanutbutter accidentally mentions afterward Todd's desire to not nominate BoJack and ends the conversation by promising him "none of this matters" and leaving. Mr. Peanutbutter tells Pickles they should leave. Mr. Peanutbutter and Pickles get hungry, but Pickles says that restaurants are a date thing. After Princess Carolyn gets her out of her funk and hires her at her new agency for a Celebrity Tweet ghostwriter, Diane goes to the restaurant Elefante to meet with Sextina Aquafina, one of her new clients. Princess Carolyn suggests they take a tomato bath. This angers Mr. Peanutbutter and he interrupts the show to have BoJack sit across from him as he confronts him about kissing Diane. He gives her the version without the whip cream and Pickles says now she actually wants whip cream. Thus ending their relationship. On set, Sassy tries to fight off Philbert, but he pins her down and begins violently strangling her. Mr. Peanutbutter reluctantly agrees as the two say they love each other. He fails and shakes tomato sauce all over Princess Carolyn and the bedroom. Wayne tells her she and Mr. Peanutbutter arent right for each other, using the "Zo and Zelda" comparison. During the after-party, Mr. Peanutbutter hires Todd as his assistant, for his new company, PB Livin'. Mr. Peanutbutter starts talking to BoJack, and after Diane talks to Mr. Peanutbutter he thinks she's in New York too, but quickly tells her he's not accusing her and that he feels better when he knows where she is. When Pickles says that shes going to talk to her subscribers, Mr. Peanutbutter begs her not to tweed feed this information. Max counters no she is in love with him even though she'd never admitted it to herself. On Halloween 1993, Mr. Peanutbutter and Katrina went to BoJack's house for his Halloween party, which BoJack lies about having so he wouldn't have to go to Mr. Peanutbutter's party, but Mr. Peanutbutter ended up bringing his party to BoJack's house. In Ancient History, Mr. Peanutbutter visits Princess Carolyn to VIM and tells her that since season one of Philbert has wrapped, he wants to auction a greeting card, which says, "Happy Birthday Dad" with a father dog and his kidsfor a movie, Birthday Dad. The changes to the film become increasingly drastic until the film is canceled altogether when Quentin and Todd decide the story should be told as a "bi-monthly curated box of snacks.". Mr. Peanutbutter says he thought she loved Joey. She says it was under the bed, in the master suite a year ago, at Mr. Peanutbutter's housewarming party. However, Joey brings up that he heard people who seem happy are the most depressed. Katrina is excited to go to a real Hollywood party with him, but she makes him promise he won't leave her alone. Pickles reluctantly takes back the ring saying that she supposes they could put it behind them if it only happened one time. Mr. Peanutbutter says it looks like David Boreanaz's house, and Flip reveals their set designer went on a tour there once. SUB, which devastated him. Pickles suggests her high school boyfriend Buzzy. Todd then tells BoJack he has his work cut out because people hate him right now. Diane returns and is now looking for the owner of a blue Tesla. Mr. Peanutbutter, with Katrina, attended the 1994 Animal Choice Awards, as he and BoJack were nominated for Male Animal In A Comedy Drama Or Variety Show, although they both lost to veteran talk show host Hank Hippopopalous, Mr. Peanutbutter's childhood idol. Jessica yells at Mr. Peanutbutter for not keeping the mummy away, while also revealing she auditioned to play the actual mummy as she storms off. However, this role was almost jeopardized in Hank After Dark when Diane, while on a book tour with BoJack promoting the paperback version of BoJack's book, brought up dark allegations made towards veteran MBN talk show host Hank Hippopopalous from eight of his former assistants. Mr. Peanutbutter tells them they were thicker than thieves, in fact, they were thievesand tells the reporters about the time BoJack and Sarah Lynn broke into his and Diane's home and stole their clothes. However, he is not as dumb as he might be letting on, as stupidity is part of his persona and a result of his naivety, and he can at times show hidden depth. Let's Find Out! After Mr. Peanutbutter and Diane have finished up having sex, as they get dressed Mr. Peanutbutter says he'll talk to Pickles, and tell her he and Diane are getting back together. Later that night, Diane signed the papers and officially divorced Mr. Peanutbutter. This almost jeopardized Mr. Peanutbutter's job, as he and Hank both work at MBN, he even looked up to Hank growing up, and he started receiving death threats for Diane. Mr. Peanutbutter asks if Flea Daniels can see the guilt on his face. Mr. Peanutbutter says she didn't, and that he loves her and wants to know the real her. BoJack's plan goes awry, however, when the robbery instead helps Diane reaffirm her love for Mr. Peanutbutter, and they push the wedding to happen within the week. Mr. Peanutbutter then says he went to college in Chicago and Diane tells him Northwestern is not in Chicago. An upset Diane tells Mr. Peanutbutter she made a fool of herself in front of BoJack, and questions why he made her talk to him. If theyre really trying to level the playing field, then Pickles having sex with Carl doesnt count. Mr. Peanutbutter intended to get another "D" but the unveiling reveals it's a "B," turning Hollywoo into "Hollywoob.". She says that he keeps dating women in their twenties, so they aren't fully formed yethe doesn't ruin them they just grow up. He angrily tells Mr. Peanutbutter to get a job. She compliments his performance on Philbert. He assures her he won't leave her again, but he goes to talk to Erica, with the excuse she can't talk to two people at once because of her split-brain surgery. Mr. Peanutbutter confesses to Joey he isnt really depressed. Diane is upset because she has to explain her costume to everyone over and over. Mr. Peanutbutter announces to the set that his mom dies and asks for support. Disaster Dominoes: BoJack's Halloween parties inevitably seem to be the tipping point where Mr. Peanutbutter's relationships start falling apart, but the one with Jessica Biel takes the cake. Diane ends up making a fool of herself in front of BoJack, who interrupts her and coldly tells her he's on the phone, as unbeknownst to her his mom was telling him that his father died. Mr. Peanutbutter and Katrina divorced shortly afterward, with Katrina eventually getting a high-ranking job in the California government. Stefani then emphasizes that Mr. Peanutbutter will probably not listen to Diane, as usual, and that as much as they love each other, he still would never understand her opinion on the matter while she could have actual people read about her thoughts. They'll fight because she's mean, and she doesn't know why she is. In The Shot, as he agrees to play Nixon's dog Checkers. Mr. Peanutbutter says he needs a drink and asks if there is a bar. After this, she and Mr. Peanutbutter, who is at the same restaurant, notice each other from across the room, to their shock. On Mr. Peanutbutter's House, he wore a dark blue collared button-down shirt with a 90s-esque geometric yellow, purple, and teal pattern on it, light blue jeans, brown belt, and white sneakers with Velcro straps. We learn valuable lessons through their antics, and they remind us how imperfect we are as humans and how heavily our own thoughts can affect us. When Mr. Peanutbutter hears her crying from downstairs he decides to go talk to her and runs upstairs while everyone except Princess Carolyn, Todd, and Ruthie quickly leave the house. At least that's the way I think of it. At the end of The Telescope, BoJack kisses Diane, leaving things awkward for the two in the following episode, Horse Majeure. Later shows Todd and Mr. Peanutbutter continuing to work on business ventures for PB Livin' they brainstorm on the fly. Gina begins to storm out, and tells BoJack to stay away from her, and get help, or not, because she doesn't care anymore. He goes on to say that if he does nothing then eventually the public will like him again. Mr. Peanutbutter asks how he should fix that. Both have key moments with BoJack Mr. Peanutbutter picks him up from prison, and Todd watches the fireworks stop his shoulders on the beach. Mr. Peanutbutter begins Season 2 by wearing a dog cone, after having to get stitches in his arm after punching a mirror while he was drunk; as he thought his reflection another dog. She ends up being forced to talk politics with Ben Stein and Tim Allen for half an hour, making her even angrier and more bitter towards her situation, but it made her think more about government. After Woodchuck says during a press conference that if a state senator was willing to actually petition for an amendment to the constitution that would democratically allow him to bid his governor title on a ski race, then he would accept the challenge. BoJack asks if Mr. Peanutbutter is seeing anyone to which Mr. Peanutbutter replies he's busy with his show and wants to focus on himself right now. Mr. Peanutbutter tells Max that BoJack sold the restaurant to him and Joey Pogo. At the party, Mr. Peanutbutter learns that Jessica auditioned for a role in The Mummy with Brendan Fraser and didn't get the part. A teenage Todd and his friends try to trick-or-treat at BoJack's house, but Princess Carolyn turns them away, motivating them to cover the place in toilet . He proposes to her in the season finale to avoid admitting he cheated on her by sleeping with Diane. He is five years younger than BoJack, despite looking much younger. He tosses her the keys and tells her to take it for a spin. Due to her old age, Mr. Peanutbutter's mother got sick with Parkinson's. In BoJack the Feminist, Mr. Peanutbutter is hosting the red carpet at the Forgivies. Mr. Peanutbutter goes outside and asks Captain Peanutbutter if everything is OK with him. Mr. Peanutbutter, the star of Mr. Peanutbutter's House, is an adult male yellow Labrador Retriever, who is BoJack Horseman's friend and former sitcom rival. In their car, Diane apologizes to Mr. Peanutbutter for ruining another Halloween for him. Pickles then calls him, and he asks how it went with Carl. In That Went Well, Esteemed Character Actress and Fugitive From The Law Margo Martindale crashes her boat, which she stole from BoJack in Stop the Presses to escape the law, into a cargo ship carrying a large shipment of spaghetti for Sandro's new restaurant. Diane plays along and says she can make it home that night. Mr. Peanutbutter calls a lawyer to make sure Disneyland is legal. Mr. Peanutbutter tells Doug that in order to move forward with his wife he needs to be honest with her. However, he is not as dumb as he might be letting on, as stupidity is part of his persona and a result of his naivety, and he can at times show hidden depth. Much to Flea Daniels' annoyance, Mr. Peanutbutter is saying that his face does not look like the face of a trustworthy birthday dad, but instead his face looks like the face of someone who did something terrible, i.e cheat on his girlfriend with his ex-wife a few times, but instead of confessing he proposes to her and now theyre engaged.
